The Wackiest Cars at the 2022 Woodward Dream Cruise Anyone can join the Dream Cruise, making this car show a treasure trove of bizarre oddities, from obscure electric vehicles to homemade mashups. Our very own "SOLD MAN" Bob Quick, Realtor® was apart of this wonderful event! Detroit is a bit more than 106 miles from Chicago, but we loved this replica of the Bluesmobile from the 1980 classic The Blues Brothers. While it's not a 1974 Dodge Monaco like the car in the film, it is based on the related Plymouth Gran Fury, and includes all the right details, from the “P1” on the rear door to a fake Illinois license plate reading “BDR529.” The speaker on the roof may not be as colossal as the one in the movie, but it captures the right spirit, as does the costumes worn by this Bluesmobile’s occupants. 02/23/2022 – The Wackiest Cars at the 2022 Woodward Dream Cruise – Caleb Miller/Car & Driver
Rest in Peace to Our Founder Remo Valente March 28, 1944 - June 23, 2022 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Patriarch. Remo died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 23, 2022. Devoted and loving husband of Fernanda (nee Silvaggio) with whom he has enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage. Loving father and mentor to Pietro (Darcie) Valente, Gabriel (Bobbi-Lynn) Valente and Amy-Lynn (Matthew) Sarkis. Cherished and proud Nonno to Gianni, Alessandra, Matteo, Gabriella Valente, Emilia and Alessia Sarkis. Predeceased by his parents Pietro and Emilia (nee Capaldi) as well his mother and father-in-law Gabriele and Angela Silvaggio. Dear brother of Lina DiLuca and her late husband Domenico, Domenic Vecchione and the late Mario Valente. Missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Domenic (Susan) Silvaggio, Ingrid (Jim) Heugh, Lina (Ron) Seguin. Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Remo was born in a bomb shelter in Sora, Italy on March 28, 1944, his father Pietro died 6 short months…
